yangshuo outside inn, in chaolong.  beautiful place further in the countryside, so many interesting travelers slipping in and out, staff who became more like friends by the end. favorite hotel stay of the whole trip.  so glad i stayed here rather than in the city.

pork jiaozi (steamed dumplings) and boiled eggs. excellent dumpling skins, slightly chewy, glutinous bite, fresh filling.  i could eat zhongguo zaocan (chinese breakfast) every day.
